WHAT ABOUT WOMEN?
Though Hammer & Nails was specially conceived and created with men in mind, women that prefer our unique environment to traditional female-centric nail salons are welcome. If you are a woman and Hammer & Nails appeals to you, please view the ‘WOMEN’ page on our website for things you should know prior to choosing Hammer & Nails for your hand and foot grooming needs.
WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN?
We do not allow children unless they are being serviced. We are happy to provide services to children age 12 or older.
NO SPA CHAIRS
At Hammer & Nails, we don’t use whirlpool spa chairs which are susceptible to bacteria, skin and hair particles if the pipes are not properly cleaned. Instead, our custom pedicure bowls have plastic liners that click directly into the bowl. These liners are thrown away after each customer so you never run the risk of sharing another customer’s water.
Upon your arrival, Hammer & Nails provides a disposable pouch containing your sterilized nail treatment supplies, including a single-use nail file, foot file, orange stick and buffers.
STERILIZED AND SEALED
We use an autoclave for all of our metal instruments. An autoclave is a sterilization chamber similar to what hospitals and dentists use to sterilize their metal tools. The tools are then stored in a sterilized and sealed pouch.
Though we love fury friends, we do not allow pets.
CELL PHONE USE
Out of respect for your fellow customers’ experience, your cell phone must be on vibrate while inside Hammer & Nails.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Tips cannot be added to your credit card, so kindly bring a bit of cash when you come in.
We accept both appointments and walk-ins. We recommend calling in advance to book an appointment so as to secure your position in our highly popular establishment. If after failing to show for (3) consecutive appointments, we will no longer accept your appointments. You must be a “walk-in only” customer.
If you are unable to make your appointment or are running late, we appreciate a courtesy phone call to let us know.
TEN-MINUTE GRACE PERIOD
Your appointment will be lost 10 minutes after your appointment time. We will consider you a walk-in and give you the next available slot, but we’ll be very friendly about it.
